So if this past week at work is any indication what the rest of the year is going to be like, it's going to be a humdinger of a year and not in a good way. I'm exhausted already and the school year hasn't even started. Worked until 10 - 10:30 last night. Maybe I'll clean my new sewing room today. See ya. Hope the weekend is great. The real fun begins Monday when we add students to the mix. Wish me luck.Photobucket

Hi Amanda,
The first week is always the hardest, isn't it... just trying to get back into the groove of things.
The first week was tough for us, too. It's a new school for us, so a new routine, and we're all trying to get used to that. Seventh grade homework started on Tuesday and hasn't stopped since (ugh!). And, the traffic for picking up the kids is horendous! Other than all of that, it was wonderful (LOL)! It does seem a little quiet until they get home, but it tends to go by pretty fast with all the chores (and blogging ~ LOL) I have to do.
I just noticed that you home-schooled your kids, so I understand now why it must be so quiet for you with your daughter off to college.
I wish you much luck this week at your school! What grades are at the school you work at?
Hugs ~ Jo
